Fewman, passed on

#1

Post by theoz49 »

I'm a friend of Fewman. I've known him for over 40 years. We bought our "Wings" on the same day as a package deal. Fewman died 4/4/2013 from cancer at the age of 63 after a year long battle. I crashed my bike in 1989 and both Fewman and his widow wanted me to have his bike. We spent many miles over the years riding side by side and he will be sorely missed. The emblems he was seeking was for his urn container. emblem thread Attached is the "tank" that has the container holding his ashes. I am honored to have is "baby"...and I will think of him every time I fire it up. Ride on buddy....! We'll meet at the "North End"....

This hurts. Fewman was such an important part of the NGW. I'm stunned at his passing and somewhat taken aback by the comments above regarding the purpose of the 'Honda' logos. When I replied to his thread saying that they were still available, I'd just purchased a set that day. After he bought his, I thought I'd pick up a couple more sets and put them away for the future but, I was told they were no longer available. I swear, he got the last set.
