The temp gauge and fuel gauge do not work on my 82 GL1100. I replaced the fuses under the gas tank but still don't work. Are there other fuses ? Or is there another problem ?

Hey there 6294, check the seven volt regulator located under the guages. That was the problem with mine. And from what I've read many others as well. good luck

Another question about guages, though not stock ones.

I'd like to add a voltage gauge, temp guage and oil pressure guage to my 1200I. I have factory gauges already for temp and fuel but no volt gauge and no oil pressure gauge. Has anyone had any problems with using the factory senders for temp and oil pressure?

I plan to run the volt gauge directly to the battery + and - terminals. Fused of course. Anyone see a problem is doing that?
Thanks!
