Nice link, looks like tomorrow will be worse in Michigan.

By the end of yesterday it was really hard to do anything between the humidity and the smoke. I even put the air conditioning on, set 1 degree lower than what the indoor temperature was to see if that would help with the humidity. It feels a bit nicer in here today but that could be because the outdoor humidity is less.

The sun is shining now so we'll see how the rest of today goes.

We're having a "FREE STUFF yard sale" (any or all items $0.00) this weekend to get rid of a bunch of stuff that's too good to throw out and not worth enough to sell but we don't need to hang onto any longer. I put the stuff out and posted pics at about 1 yesterday and about 1/3 if it is gone ;-)
Today's jobs will be breaking down excess cartons so they can go out for recycling Tuesday night (nearly everything that's going to be packed is) and planting a couple of things in the garden.

Some pretty intense thunderstorms yesterday and last night. It looks to be settling some today. Hoping I can get at least the front of the yard cut. Muggy and upper 80's so not exactly pleasant. More T Storms tomorrow and Wednesday.

Bright & sunny here today. I spent a couple of hours pulling weeds in the area where we grow squash and it turns out a lot of the squash seeds I planted have germinated (this was minimum effort planting - pull back the chips, drop in some seeds and put the chips back).

The forecast says 60% chance of rain when I have to go out tomorrow. Figures.

Miserable like August. 79f at 6 am with 90% humidity. Dewpoint is 75, feels like you are breathing water outside. Heat index this afternoon over 100.

today looks like it's going to be nice with a high of 26c, 20% POP and no smoke but we have a heat warning for the next few days with highs in the 30s and overnight lows as warm as it is now.
I guess that's appropriate since Summer started yesterday :2cool

I'm going to get as much done outside today as I can so I can stay indoors the next couple of days. There are still a few little things I can do in the basement.........

90 degrees right now, and we lost power about half an hour ago... over 4000 customers out in Wisconsin from just our power company. I don't doubt it'll get worse...

Surprisingly, our power came back on in less than an hour. Must have been something simple! Hope everyone's taking proper precautions in this heat!
