Gl1000 turnsignal issue
Hi All. Been having an issue with my turn signals. Seems like they work fine while sitting in the garage but after a while on the road they quit functioning ie. no flash. After a time being parked wherever they resume flashing again but quit after 20 to 30 miles. Anybody else had this issue. Is something feeding the flasher and causing it to overheat? Checked the grounds and all seems OK but? Seems like a simple thing but has me flumoxed

Re: Gl1000 turnsignal issue
I gotta think you are spot on, the flasher may be heating and causing an open circuit but it reconnects as it cools down. I would try a different flasher. I doubt it is over heating as it was designed to operate in that environment but circuit boards can degrade over 50 years of use.
