:-D This is my first restoration and I’m probably doing it all wrong lol. My wife said she was going to help and so far she has cleaned exactly one piece of chrome lol. I’ve bounced around from cosmetic to mechanical but I’ve buckled down and I’m focusing on getting the motor and wiring together so I can do a test start and check my first carb rebuild for leaks and such. Purchased all the carb parts from Randakks along with the rebuild manual.Thoughts and advice welcomed.

Those are aftermarket valve covers … they have been known to leak a bit.
Used originals are around … post in the 'Wanted' forum if it turns out to be an issue.
And if you rebuild the front forks it’s best to use Honda seals, so you only have to do it once …

Good progress, hope you find a different seat. But that is a personal preference as the Joker/Queen seat does not fit us well. Good luck on that first start. You only get one of those.
