Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

sorry for the delay,we finally bought our own place and moved in. the shop's not nearly set up,but i decided i need to get this cb done and move on to the 'wing. the "74" is the year of the bike(i mistakenly posted it as a 73 earlier.)

thanks,i'm pretty happy with the results. once i finish a few things like the headlight shell, bottom yoke, etc,i'll get a rolling chassis posted. too bad i have no engine.yet.
chartoo, that's the look i was going for! unfortunately finances don't allow further progress for a while...i have to use what i've got to move ahead.it didn't help freshening the old cb750 at the same time. i'm keeping my stock 'tank',but yours looks the way the factory SHOULD HAVE done it. very nice.
norbert, yeah,i pretty much ran out of paint supplies,so i grabbed a dremel and and hid from my wife for a few days. this is my first attempt, and learned what NOT to do. i have (guessing) over 25 hours into this brake plate.someone broke my welder,so my hands are tied for a while. when i'm not doing something i go kind of nuts.
