Floppy Levers

#1

Post by Russ in California »

My clutch and brake lever are a bit floppy up and down. No slack in the action but like the housing where the pivot bolt goes thru is spread or something. Any fix other than the obvious?

i recomend viagra.............LOL
make a few washers out of polypropolene ( milk bottle) plastic and put the washers between the handle and the housing ,on the bolts. the poly is very thin and self lubricating, although, a little grease on assembly wouldn't hurt. use as many or as few as you need without binding.
cheap( free!!) and easy and lasts a long time. i use them all the time
