The swingarm required little modification to serve the purpose. The driveshaft remained unchanged. The real engineering took place on the Ford Pinto pinion shaft. Removing three bolts from the swingarm's right tube and 2 from the left leg, disattaching the lower shock bolts, and the brake line from the master cylinder allowed the rear axle to come away. Worked beautifully! Never had an issue with the backyard engineering in 10,000 miles......
