Mould 1 Needed a US spec rear mudguard and decided to make a plastic one. Easy job, wax the original, then apply mould release liquid, gelcoat (black), then several layers of chopped strand mat with polyester resin, catalysed. Then rip it off the original metal mudguard and trim it.

Then reverse the process, wax etc, apply white gelcoat, layers of CSM etc, and rip the new muddy out of the mould!

Easy! It's now on the bike.
