LS view body work in primer. at this point I have had the carb assy off to clean n fix if necessary. three stripped holes repaired with time sert method on randakks site. Also removed the valve covers to replace leaking gaskets.Two of the threaded holes in the head also repaired with time serts. Upon reinstallation of carb assembly found stripped hole in head at the intake. also 6mm like valve cover. repaired w/o having to purchase another size of time sert kit. IMHO time serts are far superior to helicoil. never heard of the time sert until I started working on the wing. ebay seller threaddoctor is a good source and best price that I found.
