The only mods carried out to the suspension are the 1200 rear shocks fitted.

Other mods are, Polsport enduro headlamp unit and mudgaurds, Continental tires, rentahl bars, temp and fuel gauge cut off of original 1100 instrument cluster, panaram speedo unit, goodridge brake lines.

GL1000 saddle, missed it out but the tires are Continental Twinduro 140/17 rear, 110/19 front. Cant remember name of exhaust down pipes but they are aftermarket ones, silencers `cherry bomb' type from custom shop. I now have Rickman loop type engine protection bars fitted

As some of teh extra bits have been removed its not to bad to pick up. The opposite is true, the width of teh engine means you can get stuck in teh ruts, the bike wont lean at all then :)

A bit of a late reply, sorry. Never tried it out in sand dunes as we dont have any near where I live. Wouldnt want to try though as I think it would sink and the bike and rider would never be found
