Hi all
Just an observation, a few requests for info on this page, while always answered, would be easily recitfied if the person asking brought a workshop manual. This action would also prevent any damage being done to your ride. I recommend the following manuals for each model.
GL1000 Honda, Haynes, Clymer
GL1100 Honda, Haynes, Clymer
GL1200 Honda, Clymer
GL1500 Honda, Clymer
GL1800 Honda
These recommendations, in my order of preferance, are based on what manuals I have used in the last 25 years of working on the Goldwing range.

They say WHY?, I say why not.
If God had intended motor cycles to be standard, he would'nt have given us the hacksaw.

Honda Mechanic, I to have all the Honda manuals and have also found that the Clymer and Haynes manuals are generally usefull, if only for the pics with different views of an item. I have the 1500 Haynes manual and dont think it goes into enough detail for this model. Looking at the Haynes 1200 manual I would think this is the same.
Although not all items are covered in the clymer manuals, such as re-building the rear wheel gearbox, I think it is ideal for most DIY's.
