Well, not exactly. However I may be sharing Mr. Double Rainbow's enthusiasm for motorcycling once again. My frequently cobwebbed '83 is showing me it's displeasure by leaking fuel at the carb plenum. I rebuilt these carbs when I purchased the bike in 2009 so maybe it's just time for some new gaskets. Anyway, the excitement is trickle town to the wing via a local small bore rally. I attended this through invitation by a friend who owns a harley. I must admit there were a large procession of groms, ruckuses and little z's. There were a couple of patina Hondas. A couple of show bikes. The kind people have spent enough money to buy a house on. Then my brother in law bought a Honda Monkey for his grand kids and after I rode it I couldn't help but smile. It reminded of my '69 mini trail. Apparently at that point I was hooked, again. The Monkey needed a bit more top end for me so I set out looking for my own small bore ride. I found something I didn't know existed. A one year to the U.S. only 1990 Honda NS50F. After fixing everything previous owners chose to neglect I've been living on that thing and I smile A LOT. This got me wanting to show the wing some love so I've rode it more this year than any of the last ten. I'm feeling good and motorcycling is the reason. I know I'm getting old but this makes me feel young. Anyone else have this experience?Image

NS50F !!! Outstanding action1

To your question. Yes. It keeps us (me) young. True motorcycling is a magic elixir.
