Rear signal mounting points

I'm planning to put some Honda OEM bullet signals on my GL1100. I expect some form of mounting plate will need to be fab'd or bought. Image below shows the two prong signal and mounting bolts for shock, seat, and fender. I don't like the factory mounting points near the brake light. The front signals clamp to the fork tubes.
Any recommendations for best mounting point(s) for the rear signals?

Seems like the Shocks or Fender bolts with a fabricated metal bracket would work fine. I too like that location better but had to move the ones on my 1977 to accommodate bags.

Or maybe a bracket that connects both the shock mount and fender mount, putting the signal between the two. It would have to "swoop" down to get below the seat bolts.
Cardboard mockup here we come.

The early 1000's mounted to the grab rail. On my 75 with the Harley fender I used a 78 style tail lamp and mounted the turn signals to that but I shortened up the stem lengths.
