Front brake light switch

When the lever is pulled there is a momentary flash and then at full pull of the lever the light is not on.
If I carefully pull the lever there is a place in travel that the light stays on as long as I maintain the position.
The factory manual says there is no adjustment in the front brake switch.
Time for a new switch?
Thanks

I would. You might be able to flush it with contact cleaner and get it working better but given its likely age I would just replace it and be done with it.

Yeah, it's just a simple pressure switch for the front brake. You can double-check by connecting the two wires that go into it together. If the light comes on consistently, it ain't bad wiring.

The only other remote possibility would be something in the brake line (like an air bubble), but if your brake works fine otherwise, that's unlikely.

Replacing the switch is your best bet.
