Good morning all,
Another tech question from my 85 gl1200 naked build. Working with the wiring harness and got to the point where I was satisfied, went to change the running lights to non factory for that naked look. Tested between each step of and after being ready to mount the lights, had no parking (running) lights. Fuse is good but zero power to the little fuse box for that parking spot and the one directly below (the meter tail). I began tracing the power. To ignition stitch is good, but all brown wires (including the brown/white which goes directly into all of the parking lights) have no power in any of the ignition positions. All other wires out have power.
Any ideas or recommendations?

Re: No power to fuse
I ain't saying that it's your issue, but I kinda ran into the same thing not long ago.
No turn signals, running lights.
I found that my problem was with the turn signal flasher connections.
I wiggled the wires and the lights began to work again.
