We've all had something like this happen. Sometimes trying to fix it just makes it worse, trust me, I know.
So I came upon this and it's possibly the best remedy I have seen.

I saw that a couple of years ago on one of the forums. It looks like a good method but I'm not a good enough welder to make it work.

I've seen this method before. Very cool. I wonder if, with my seriously shaky welding skills, I could get the settings right though. But if I was down to stems and seeds I'd give it a go.

This method requires a very steady hand. Too easy to weld to sidewall and really mess things up. Practice first on nuts and bolts.
