I’m thinking I will not try to convert my bike to efi until next winter so I’ll have plenty of time to source the missing stuff and clean it up real good.

Are those supposed to be screws for the TPS?
Yeah effin mice have been having a meal out of my sponge...Are those supposed to be screws for the TPS?

The screws for the TPS are breakout bolts designed to break the head off so no tampering can be done later. A Dremel tool, cut a slot in the bolt heads and unscrew. Put in some hex head bolts. You will need to adjust the TPS later on depending on the ECU of choice. Once the EFI system is installed and ready for initial engine start, jack up the idle and get the engine started and into an idle of sorts (fast or other wise). Adjust the VE table, then the spark table, to give the engine what not needs, adjust the idle to suit. Once you have a decent idle, adjust the TPS so you have approximately 0.5 VDC signal to the ECU. You will probably start with a speed density (SD) fuelling profile that uses a MAP sensor for the engine load. The TPS is only used to indicate to the ECU that the throttle plates are in the closed position, and when the TPS signal changes on throttle opening, the ECU knows that the throttle plates are no longer in the closed position. The closed position indicates that the throttle plate s in a closed position, not necessarily 100% closed. This is where the passive IAC system of the 1200 FI GWs comes in, and it works quite well. Provides combustion air for idle and deceleration.

Ah thanks. I thought the screws looked weird.
I get what you are saying with the ECU thinks that the throttle is in it's closed position via software but not 100% closed in the throttle body.
