NGW is turning 20!! This year (2024) we will meet in Morehead, KY to get together and celebrate 20 years as a club. We will meet at the Days Inn, 170 Toms Drive, Morehead, KY 40351. This meeting place is within walking distance to a selection of restaurants for breakfast, lunches and dinners. Several rides (all under 100 miles) will be planned for Tuesday thru Thursday for those who want to ride the area. If you don’t want to ride, there are several things to do in the area…a Kentucky Folk Art Museum that is worth the visit, a railroad museum, and a gorgeous lake, too. There will be a celebration dinner either Wednesday or Thursday evening. The area is teeming with beautiful, curvy roads and gorgeous scenery. This is beautiful Central Kentucky at its finest.

Every NGW member is invited!! If the rooms at the Days Inn all sell out, there are several other motels within walking distance. It (the Days Inn) is located at the intersection of Interstate 64 and Kentucky 32. We would love to have a large group this year to celebrate! Spouses are always welcome.

You can call the Days Inn in Morehead directly for reservations at 606-783-1484 and ask for the NGW rate of $75.99 for a double or king room. They have smoking and non smoking rooms available. HINT: If you reserve soon through the Wyndhamhotels.com website, you may get a senior rate at the 2023 prices...but hurry! The hotel DOES allow pets (cats and dogs only) at $10/per pet, per night. Most members will check in on Monday, September 9, and check out Friday, September 13. There are also campgrounds fairly close by, for those who want to camp.

If you have not been to one of these NGW Club gatherings in the past, we are looking forward to meeting you! If you have been to one in the past, I know you will be back! You can ride anything, come in your car, trailer your bike, or just come and have fun meeting other NGW Club members and hang out.

Its a year away.... I put it into my calendar and hopefully I will be able to attend.

For anyone that might want to take a day and do the tourist thing I can highly recommend a day at Shaker Village of Kentucky. Its approximately a 90 minute ride from the Days Inn via the big roads. Plan on spending the day, restaurant on site. You'll explore the culture, building techniques, and even see how their religious beliefs influence the shaker style furniture and cabinetry they developed.

we are penciling it in our calendar. Somehow, I got "volunteered" by the USA Morgan three wheeler facebook group to put together a M3W gathering near the tail of the dragon. We have also had some things come up so I may be going back to retiring again.
