sorry Ken. I didn't know you posted.
Sept will be a bit cooler as far as temps go and it won't or shouldn't be as jammed with tourists in rv's but I'm not sure what will be open in regards to restaurants,etc.
I'd do some googling to find out before leaving on your ride.
