Here is my new project mocked up. I'm going for a scrambler-ish look that can be returned to stock if need be. Short Harley slip-ons, short front fender, short crossbar handlebars, a shortend rear fender from a '78 parts bike and a Harley Tail light. I'm thinking about installing a set of Metzler Tourance tires and going back to spoked wheels. I'll mount original rear blinkers to the ends of the frame rails, but I'm not sure where to put the license plate yet. I know this is a trendy look, but I've always liked the style, and I do live in an area where I have to go down dirt roads once in a while.

I think it would look very cool, especially with some scrambler tires.

Nothing is new under the sun, do what you like and want. My project will prob not be a hit with many folks....doesn't bother me a bit. I'm kinda thinking of 80/20 tire, not sure yet...
