honda gl 1000 shock tool and spoke tool

i need to pull the coil off the shock, so i can powder coat the coil. part #07959-3290001. is no longer available. As well as tool number 07701-0020300 for the spokes.
what tool are you using for spokes and coils?

I have a set of Motion Pro spoke wrenches for spokes. I've done all kinds of wrong stuff to swap springs around on shocks. You should be able to Google plans for building a shock tool. Some folks have used a strut spring compressor.

i was unable to find the shock/strut compressor. i have a few ides. see if O'reilleys has one i can rent for the day. spoke wrench i found ones close to the size but not an exact fit. i guess close is good. need a @07701-0020300 (e) 5.8X6.1. i will purchase a few and see what happens. thanks

oops. I thought you were looking for the wrench to adjust the preload.
