The 76 gl1000 I have is running a martek electronic ignition. The spark is pretty weak. I will test the coils tomorrow. I know the coils are OEM, if not original to the bike. If I need to replace the coils, is there a particular resistance I should look for? Will the neon coil conversion work, as I like the idea of using plug wires that can be replaced, and I have plenty of wire making supplies.
Thanks
What coils for martek ignition?

Neon coils might work. I like putting motorcycle parts on my motorcycles though.
I believe 3 ohm coils is what you need. Either Dyna or accel make what you need.
