Gl1000 cafe racer clutch cable options

#1

Post by gjmdog »

Hello everyone I'm new here and a new GL1000 owner.

My problem is that I put lower handlebars on my 77 wing and now the clutch cable is to long.

What options do I have for a shorter cable can I use one off another bike.

well, you have several options. One is to go to the intro section, and tell us a little about you and your bike.(we like that). Or you could try the search feature....or check some of the similar posts at the bottom of the page

Hi,
There is a how-to in the technical section on how to cut and weld them if you want to go that route.
If you want to have one custom made for you, you call motion pro, tell them the lenght you need and they'll happlily do one for you.

Cheers
