Mine with a thong did the trip from Michigan without the help of a trailer with two up the whole way. Of course Claude also road two up on an almost naked 84.

I hope this wonderful run thread doesn't deteriorate into a naked vs dressed, trailer vs riding debate. Much like the harley vs honda line of thinking, single carb vs stock. 75 thru 84 wings were born naked and some get a little clothing on when they go out in the world. How about them cubbies?

Fred, you and your lady are to be commended for ting that trip on Baddog. Reminded me of me in my twenties. We all chose the rides we are comfortable on. I myself, found myself comfortable, but due to running issues, wishing I had ridden my 78. In the end it is not what we ride...but that we DO ride. We are all brothers (and sisters) in the wind.

Every bike at the rally belonged there. It is about riding them, and the more comfortable you are then the more you ride. Fully agree to avoid further discussion on wing wear.

I wasn't trying to start a controversy about naked or not, just an observation. I like seeing all variations of wings, that's what keeps it interesting. The trailer was mostly for my wifes benefit, she did ride with me on both days which I give her a lot of credit for as there wasn't a lot of two-up riders.
