I need you help again! stock carb jets.

#1

Post by katmol »

Years ago me and my good buddy a Honda racing mechanic were making my 1976 GL go faster. No I just want it to go better. He changed out most of the stock jets and I'd like to go back to stock. Where can I get a set of the stock air jets? The local Honda shop guy tell me he can't get them.

Thanks

I was going to say, air jets can be soldered closed and drilled to the correct size. Most of them need that anyway.

Yea that's true, but I'm just trying to put it all back to stock.

Thanks!

That's cool but it will have an off idle stumble/hesitation with the stock air jet. Have a look at Randakks site for info.

The off idle stumble is from the "slow air jet" located on the outside of the carb. That I'll leave as per Randakks' site info. I'm just going back to stock on the main primary and secondary fuel and air jets. Thanks.
