I am preparing to leave Lamont, FL and should arrive at the Sleep Inn about 10AM. My GPS got me lost in the FL boonies yesterday. Took me 4 hours to make what it said was 14 miles. At least I have experience now on navigating the unpaved roads of Florida.

I'm gonna fire it up around 9:00. I figure 2 hrs to get to the park so ETA about 11.

KY, Gord and I both got our "off road road" merit badge too in north FLA. Who's idea was it to make a road out of sand anyways.....

That's what you get for setting your GPS to avoid major highways. shakehands GPS's need a "street bike friendly back roads" setting. :cry:

WOG is working at his shop this morn, and he said he will be back 1030 or 1100 to group up for the beach ride.

Visited Wogs shop for a lesson in CNC machining this morning and then a wonderful lunch at a greek restaurant. This has been a great experience. Headed home tomorrow AM. Couldn't take pictures as my phone is gasping its last breath.
