Well the ice cream store guy was complaining because you weren't there to buy a quadruple scooper and he was counting on a big sale.

My thanks to WOG and Mrs. WOG (Ken and Jackie) for putting up with me and for showing us around. Ken's shop is VERY nice by the way.

my apologize to the ice cream guy. I wanted to be there....but the gods conspired against it this time. I REALLY missed it,.....and I hope someone took a ton of pictures. I hope there is a next time......and I will be around to try again

Been a GREAT run ..... echo Thanks to the Wogs for a ton of work they've put into it ..... great picnic too.

Oldewing and I hitting the road north at first light (Friday) ..... weather looks good, for the first day anyway ..... hoping to make Greg's place in 3 days, take a breath, and then finally off home to Toronto

I snuck out in the dark (traffic was already picking up). I made it through Atlanta (Worse traffic by far than Clearwater) and am now holed up in a Best Western. Should be home early tomorrow afternoon.

RAT, Bugss and I are in Athens GA, 545 down range from our "home" in FLA. Thanks to WOG's (both) for a great week. good miles today but really bad weather coming. High winds and inches of rain. Already set up to camp here is needed.

It was great seeing everyone, some again and some for the first time. Special thanks to Wog and Mrs. Wog, what great hosts.

In Hawaii the 1st birthday is the MAJOR birthday celebration. I think it dates back to when many babies died in the 1st year. Therefore those whom had survived were a cause for real celebration.
