Post #1 by RebelRouser » Thu Mar 22, 2007 12:39 pm

Here Is Where We Will Post The PDF Versions Of The Shop Manuals. This Topic Will be Locked, The Files Are For The Members To Share And Use...

GL1000 Zip PDF File http://www.divshare.com/download/260727-a26
(this is a .zip archive split into 15 meg segments. you would need to download all 14 files and then have Winzip or Winrar installed on your computer to open it (chances are most people already do) Once you have all 14 files just click on one of them and the file will decompress.)

GL1000 3 File PDF Set http://www.divshare.com/download/263122-30f
(a bit simpler for those of you with faster internet connections.
its the same type of archive described in the first post, will open with Winzip, Winrar or any other program that will handle .zip's.
this set is 2 75 meg files and one 50 meg file.)
Thank You JackNJ For The Above Two...

MORE TO COME AS SOON AS I GET THEM HOSTED

Honda Shop Manual 75-79

Both of these file sets are compressed .zip files broken into segments. you will need to download ALL of the files in each set and then join them together with "HJSplit" before opening them with a program like WinZip or WinRar, or any other program that will handle .zip's.

Set #1: This set of files is the one you want if you are on dialup or a slow internet connection. it is 14 files approximately 15 megs each.

Set #2: A bit simpler for those of you with faster internet connections. This set is three files, two 75 meg files and one 50 meg file.

GL1000 3 File PDF Set http://www.divshare.com/download/263122-30f

HJSplit is a freeware program that can be downloaded from this link:

http://www.treepad.net/download/hjsplit.zip

Directions:

1. Pick a file set and download all the files in it. You should have either 15 or 3 files depending on whether you picked Set #1 or Set #2.

2. Download HJSplit from the link provided above.

3. Run HJSplit, click on "Join". It will pull up a screen that asks for "Input File" and "Output File". Click on "Input File" and browse to the folder where you have the archive segments. Click on HONDA_GL1000_75-79.zip HJSplit will assemble the file segments into one .zip file and place that file in the folder with the original files.

4. Click on the newly created .zip file and it will open up in WinZip, WinRAR or whatever program you have installed on your PC to handle .zip files.

If you do not have a program already installed on your computer to uncompress this type of file you can get the free version of WinZip here:

http://www.winzip.com/

or WinRAR here:

Another One For The List

This Comes To Us From Roady Who Scanned The Manual.

I made a copy of the PDF copy of the Haynes manual for 1979 to 1981 GL1100s. This is a British publication and contains all models worldwide. There's also a clickable, hotlink table of contents at the front. This copy is for personal use only and it costs nothing to those who download it.

Send a PM to Roady to get the link.
