Dayum!

Just moved to the top of my list. Great look! Utilitarian and no nonsense.

BOTM material. Heck, throw some suspension/brake work on there and it's BOTY! (Not counting the drilled rotors).

I agree with P-ville. I really like the bike, it is a great cafe conversion of a GL. However, I personally would do a wee-bit more with saddle, but as always, it is 100% the owners choice. Hopefully he has more organic padding back there than I do ;)

Great pic, thank for posting it warhead-71.

Wow,
That's very professional looking, my eyes go right to the seat, very minimilistic and

Don't think its a 600 mile a day bike. More of a show piece. Doesn't have to be functional....just look good

I must respectfully disagree. First, no cafe bike would ever be a 600 mi/day ride. Not its intent. So, functionality is relative. This beast is not just about looking good in my opinion. This is pure function over form - not the reverse. But, given the current popularity of the cafe style, it just happens to fulfill both criteria - and quite well. Bopping the day along in 25 to 50 mile chunks. That's cafe running.

We kinda did the cafe thing in the 70's in Mass and NH, before it caught on - in the US anyway. Funny thing was, we didn't realize it was cafe style and didn't identify it as such. But it was the same thing, even the tails. We were running Triumphs and Nortons. It was about running tight, getting low and getting light.

I, for one, would like a couple more photos - like of the other side. I see more cool little details the more I look.

You are correct on that. I was in europe in the late 60's and early 70's, and the style was to emulate the race bikes of the day. And the longest trips were from one bar to the next. I love the style, and most of the bikes I build are the cafe' style, refined to do long hauls. A large number of Europeans still favor the style. And you are also correct that it never really caught on over here. It is a beautiful bike. And it would certainly draw a crowd when parked in front of any cafe, or bar

Yah. Some build pics and details would be cool. Before and after shots.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Needs rearsets! Riding in taco formation isn't practical, or comfortable.
