July 15 - 18th
Location:
Wyalusing State Park, where the Wisconsin River meets the Mississippi River on the Great River Road in Wisconsin.
We will be staying at a group camp within Wyalusing Park that can support 20 campers which would be free with registration. The campground has access to bathrooms and showers, picnic tables, and covered day sites if weather is an issue. There is a site which holds 40, but from past runs, it is unlikely we would need a larger site. However, it is there if needed.

For those that choose to camp privately, reservations can me made online. Please note that all vehicles that enter the state park will be charged 7 dollars per a day (24 hour period) for in state liscene plates, and ten for out of state. There are hourly, and reduced rate passes for those 65 or older available as well. These expenses will be your responsibility.
Car use fees:
Praire Du Chien is just a few miles away and has quite a few hotels ranging from affordable, to expensive depending on what you prefer, given that camping is not appealing, or not practical for you.
My suggestions:
Bridgeport Inn
Best Western
Super 8
There are many more, but that gives you a few options that are very close to the State Park.
Registration:
Registration is $25 and will include one dinner, one lunch, T-shirt, and free camping at the designated group campsite in Wyalusing State Park.
Register here.
Agenda:
Tuesday:
Arrival
Wednesday:
Dinner in Prairie Du Chien just a few miles from Wyalusing State Park.
Thursday:
Group ride on the Great River Road. The ride will be taken at your own pace, with lunch at the designated time in La Crosse. Exact time and location will be announced at a later date.
A suggested route will be provided, along with suggested stops along the way. This is a beautiful ride on either side, so the return to camp will be on the Minnesota/Iowa side, and the northern trip on the Wisconsin side (traveling to La Crosse).
Friday:
Depart
T-Shirt:
T-Shirt will be provided, however I am taking suggestions on design.
I will have at least three other suggested rides in the area. I will post details at a later date.
If you have any questions, would like to help in any way, please just chime in.
Hope to see you all there!
