leaky fuel sender

so whats the best " goo" to keep fuel from leaking out the top of the tank , yes , where the sending unit with the float screws into the tank. assuming i have replaced or faxed the oem rubber seal and it still leaks....thanks

You shouldn't need any "goo" to seal it! You really want to avoid using any type of sealants around fuel, as it will attack most of them. I found out at a young age what happens with these sealants when the fuel attack them, the end up gumming up the carb (or carbs in our case)! :shock:

RTV cement should be fuel proof but not idiot proof i would first turn the donut over and see what happens.

Make a gasket out of cork for the sending unit. You can buy a sheet of cork at the auto parts.
