Looking for a part

#1

Post by Chewbacca »

Hey guys,

The restoration is going very well, though, I do find myself buying more chrome novelty items than the parts I need, lol. There is one part I cant find though.

I'm looking for the lower dust seal for the steering stem bearings. I can get the bearings almost anywhere but they don't come with the bottom dust seal, only the top one. The one on the 82 GL1100 I has a rubber lip arround it. It would deffinately be appreciated if you caould help out, lol, the whole bike is being held up by one little seal right now.

I did go take a look at the frame today (Just finished with the sand blasting and being DA'd. Looked great so far. I can't wait to get her home and togeather.
