Hello again,
Sorry if this question has been asked before. I'm just a couple days old here and I did a search on the word "tubeless" and got no results, so...
Can anyone tell me if the the spoke rims on a 1976 Goldwing LTD use tubed or tubeless tires?
How about sizes? What should I put on a 17 and a 19 inch rim? What brand makes whitewalls in those sizes?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
To tube or not to tube?

tubes
ALL wire spoked rims require tubes and a inner rim band to protect the tube from the spoke nipples............T

Re: tubes
I agree with this comment - mostly. BMW and some other manufactures are now using ar tight rims for wire wheel (the spokes come out at teh edge of the rim and can be seen with the tireon) and there is a prduct, teh name of which deludes me at the moment, which can be fitted in the well of the rim, making it airtight.BIG T wrote:ALL wire spoked rims require tubes and a inner rim band to protect the tube from the spoke nipples............T
Not sure if I trust teh second option though.

They say WHY?, I say why not.
