Air suspension question

#1

Post by jsmx9014 »

I have an 82 Aspencade with the air pump under the false tank. The pump works fine. Problem is, air seems to bleed from the higher pressure back shocks to the lower pressure front forks. Eventually, you end up with the same pressure in both - about 40psi - way to much for the front and not near enough for the back. Anybody got any ideas what might cause that? :-?

Thanks for the reply QUEEN|E! I don't have the manual. So, the link will be very usefull. I'll get into the manual and see if I can figure out what the problem is. I suspect it's the Front/Rear selector valve on the control panel. As far as I can tell so far, that's the only place where the front and rear suspension air is tied together. Hope I can repair it, or at least find a replacement part.
Thanks Again!
