ELECTRICAL QUESTION

Hi there, after a close look to the electrical parts on my GL1000, I see I dont have the "resistor"( the one at the side of the regulator) and there are just 2 diodes insted of 4.
Is that normal or there is something wrong that can cause me more problems? :-?
(You can see the picture of the left side on my gallery)
Cheers

Hola Bandido
I don't think there's reason to worry.-)
The "resistor" is for the "reserve lightning system" that did
not come with the European bikes. So no 'resistor' on European bikes.

I'm not sure what "four" diodes you're refering to.

Your picture (including the diodes)
looks exactly like on like my (European) bikes.

Here's the European chart:

PS:
there are several different European diagrams
UK / German / French but the above is typical.

Best regards

Hola Octane,
Thanks: now I'm more confident. Sometimes I forget mine is an european bike fly into a rage
