No dought I need a windshield. What kind and brand do you guys run?
Probably go thru JC Whitney or Dennis Kirk. Searching, searching...
Frame mount or handle bar mount?
I DID look thru the pics but not many good pics of the windshield and mounting.
Thanks,

Re: Which Windshield?
I like the handle bars mounted (with clamps), very easy to mount on/off.Russ in California wrote:No dought I need a windshield. What kind and brand do you guys run?.

Windshield
Russ, I used a Memphis Shades Windshield for a Honda Valkyrie. It seems to be the right size for my GL1100. The headlight cut out had to be made a little deeper. I then used the headlight ear bolts with the thread in the head of the bolt to secure the lower portion, and made up some aluminum arms to fasten the upper portion to the handlbars. Works well and looks good too.
