Very Nice pics!! Was that yellow 76 original paint? I have never owned one but I think they are Beautiful!!

The yellow looked original. Not perfect but very nice. It came from San Diego.
The Quail was in Carmel, CA. and there were real Quail on the golf course.
The hotel was closed and it seemed to be financially driven. Comments in the area seemed to indicate the Monterey, Carmel area was suffering from the SF bay area financial woes.

I wonder if the LTD that was in the auction sold for its suggested price of 10 to 12 G's....

Can't see it myself, it was a nice low mileage bike and all, but somebody with too much money might have wanted it and gotten inspired by all the bikes that made that look cheap.
