Neat! Is there anything you can't do with a battery charger and some chemistry?

The biggest problem with this method is finding the washing soda. Anyone have a good source?

Can be had at the grocery store.
Old GoldWings rule. Hands down the most fun bikes I've owned.

I have been looking in grocery stores. It used to be quite easy to find.

In the 70s, we used it to extract hash oil from unsmokable weed. 8) :-D

I went to the biggest WalMart around here and they had Arm & Hammer BAKING SODA in the aisle with laundry soap and other washing stuff. But no washing soda. I'll keep looking. I have 2 Volvo tanks and 3 Goldwing tanks to do.

I might just buy it online and save the arrravation of a search. :-D

Sorry, Walmart does seem to be inconsistent in what they carry from store to store.

You may try the pool store or pool section in a Home Depot or Lowes. They sell Sodium Carbonate as a ph adjuster, aka: pH +, or pH plus, or ph increase.

I don't think it would work with carb crud, just rust.
