Sythetic fork oil? Better?

Just fould this board. I've been riding my two OLDWing since 1991 (77, 84std).

I know a lot of you have been riding motorcycles for a very long time.
I've notice over the years I don't change (Like most of us) the fork oil nearly often on any of my bikes. Shame on me.

I was Just wondering if anybody has first hand experience using Synthetic fork oil over time, and can you tell me, if there is a perceivable difference performance in fork action, dampening and rebound+fork life.

I know if you take some old used reg oil out, any new oil is going to improve the feel. That's why I used the word perceive. LOL

Also do you think it will improve fork seal life?

Obviously there is going to be less friction using synthetic. I would think that would change the dampening, good, bad, or indifferent, because of the fact that the fork would move up and down easier. No?

Thanks

No, but you can have longer intervals before you change it.

Maybe synthetic front fork oil does have its advantages, but given how oftem most owners change theirs is it woth the addtional expense?

I think you just put up the best argument for going with synthetic fork oil, it will stand up to time better then dino oils. I guess that will be the next part of my bike to go synthetic.
