Not the amount of progress that I would like, but still progress. Headlight mounted and bars on. This bike didn't have signals or tail light, but I've been able to pick some up on eBay. Had to rewire the signal sockets, and might need to turn stalks for the rears. Wiring harness is on and connected to items forward of the tank. Need to install the bumpers on the battery box and install it. Oh, and the swing arm is on and drive connected. Shocks need to be stripped down and cleaned, but I don't have a spring compressor, so I'll be looking to make buy or borrow on. Next week is bike show prep as I'm the guy directing it. Picked up the Best in Show plaque yesterday. Time Warp club has their own trophy for the best member bike there.

She's a bit squeezed in between boxes for the show and the T150V, but shows progress. And, yes I realize the signals are mounted in the wrong place. Mounting studs are on order. My lathe may be called into action for the rear.

Well, the show was only "OK". Weather threatened (although we didn't really get wet - just some sprinkles) and turn-out was just a dozen bikes. Some really beautiful vintage ones, though.

Meanwhile, I'm continuing to work on Pete. Most of the wiring is done, and there is a chance that I'll attempt a start-up next week. Short one rear signal mount stud (the one that goes through the rear "bumper"). I can find them on eBay for ridiculous prices, or Saber Cycle out-of-stock but expected soon. I'm presently using the battery from the Hunley. I'll order a new one once Pete starts. I guess brakes are next to be fitted. Grrrr I hate working on brakes.

Brakes are important however. Just pace yourself as a hurry up rarely saves time.

Another thing that I've noticed is that the material between the two screens in the vent canister has completely deteriorated. What was it? Can I replace it with something like Scotchbrite?

Two items completed, one item broke. The boot is now completely on the driveshaft ujoint and the connector is screwed onto the neutral switch. Turning the key on-and-off while testing the turn signals, it stopped working. Pulled it off and apart to inspect - the shaft had snapped off! Before that failed, I tested the starter with a temporary lead, and that works.

Nothing gooey superglue cannot fix, Perhaps with a filet of thick epoxy.

Switch came in today. Next is to troubleshoot (and bypass, if necessary) the RLU. Although this may be a problem with the B contactor on the start push button. But, I've fought it enough for today. Throttle and clutch cables run (clutch connected). Waiting for a spring to come in so the oil filter can be mounted. Then she'll get oil and the compression tested.

Turned out to be a dirty fuse holder. RLU seems to be working fine. This morning, installing the crankcase vent canister. Whish I knew that it should be installed BEFORE installing the fuel tank. Got one bolt in, I'll worry the other in this afternoon.

Radiator, upper and lower hoses, rear brake and lines in. Feel like I went a fall with Kane. Nearing the finish line, though.
