My hope is to get this one done in the spring. No heat in the shed makes things go a lot slower in the frozen tundra. My buddy does great photography, so no doubt we will have some great pictures of this bike, and mine.

Fixed up a mount for the new gauge…didn’t turn out to bad. Now that it is done, it can go off to get powder coated.

I like it but you headlight also needs work LOL. Nice fab work on the mount, as it integrates well.

Hahaha...Yes, headlight does need a little work. Was fun getting the old gauge off in one piece. I figured I would be back in there, so no point putting it back together only to take it apart again.

I figured this mount might be an easy way to integrate it, without looking like I was trying to make one from scratch.

Slow going with these projects…but did finally get the panels back from the painter…

Not sure when I will get them all hung, but they will get there. Moving isn’t fun.

Re: kick-stand too short. My 77 project bike leans way over too. I don't feel good about it. Nor do I understand why one GL1000 leans over more than another. The kick-stands are identical and the tire sizes are identical. Who knows?

Those panels look great in the sunlight. Wow, she is going to turn heads.
My 1977 BADDOG with a 16 inch Lester on back also leaned to far to the left. I put on a CB750 stand and now it is leaning just right.

Some very poor lighting, but got an idea of what this will look like.
