I don't think I want to do this again, man this was labor intensive and delicate work...
It's a nervous job, no doubt about it.
They look terrific and will certainly add a lot to the looks of the bike.

I did the same job on the 5 gauges on my '78. THEN...
I was riding along and looked down at the fuel gauge. My new interior was all katty wumpus. The little screws fell out. I had to take all 3 of the little gauges apart again because I forgot to loctite the screws in.

Okay, so I was worried that the lighting would be all jacked up because of the all white faces. I think with the combination of Aqua blue on the inside of the surrounds and the greenish dial plate, this was exactly the look I was hoping for.

Let us know when you get them out on a night ride. I bet they are really easy to read, but you never know for sure. They certainly look great, and you did a nice tutorial above.

Thanks for that very detailed descriptin of the process. The painting tips etc are great. I didn't think white would look absolutely freakin awesome. I was totally wong! It looks super clean and still vintage

Okay, so now that I have my gauges back together, I think I want to sell the second set of white gauge appliqués. I need to get at least $60 including shipping in the US only.

1st PM sent gets them. Just follow my installation instructions in the thread.
