Another thought entered my head just after my last post. I'm pretty sure the tires came with the bike when you bought it, correct me if I'm wrong. Just how old are they? If they are getting long in the tooth and if it were me I would replace them.

I think the tires are good for a little while. They’re only thirty pages old. Lol. Toolbox, glad to see this one out and about, and with a decent amount of riding time in front of you. Looks great. I wonder how many people will think you’re a locomotive at night.

just wow..
I have to admit..when you started this thread and I first saw pics of the bike with the big driving lights I thought..man that isn't going to look good at all..boy was I wrong.
It looks fantastic and your pictures certainly do it justice.
I dabble in photography and have a decent selection of lenses but not a lot of lighting equipment..actually none except a remote flash.
so I for one would love a tutorial on shooting bikes, cars, etc.
I have a 49mm, 50-200mm, 18-55mm and a 70-200mm F2.8 lens with a pentax K110D body. Also a manfrotto tripod and head.
ETA..I also think you should admit to yourself now that considering you have the bike on the road..your Olds is going to be ignored..which will turn into neglect..then disrepair..so save an Olds today and send her to me.

This bike has so much fine character that it should be commemorated in a calendar---on every page & every month!
The night time pics in front of the garage are grand. It looks like you figured out the non-rain dance. I bet you figured out it's way more effective naked. Just like a naked Goldwing.

I'm starting to be concerned about you...

Well, four days of great entertainment and information later and the final photos just put the icing on the cake. Great instructional photos, even with an old cell phone. Extremely well written commentary, informative, funny, and entertaining. You and this build have been an inspiration to me. Thanks, toolbox!

PS. When you decide to do Logan Pass let me know. I'd love to ride it with you. I'm just across the border in Alberta, it takes me a couple of hours to get to West Glacier from my house.

Just awesome Toolbox. Love the detail. Very cool and congrats on sticking with it through the years. Very inspiring for those of us still in the customization-wasteland and far from done with our builds.
