Got the pin stripes on the 78 parts. This time it peeled of easy, unlike the 77. Really highlights the blue

I am starting to assemble (some assembly required-LOL). I am replacing to stock coils with DYNA. I was hoping there would be a shoptalk for this. looks pretty straight forward, 1/2 on the right and 3/4 on the left but when I wire them up for power, which wire goes with which lug? Is there a positive and negative? Or does it matter?

was clear coating the panels. Dang the BLUE looks great with the gold pinstriping. As I mentioned earlier, had some difficulty getting the yellow pin stripes off the film. The worse was one of the tank panels. Then I had a bleb in the paint I tried to fix. The more I fixed the more lifting and the bleb was worse. Sanded the whole thing down, reprimed and repainted. New pin stripe set on the way

it takes about 5 light coats to get the yellow right. I also discovered you want a uniform color on the primer. Before I had areas that were "filler/primer" fixing some spots, but it is lighter than the base primer and so harder to cover with yellow without showing through

so back to tinkering.... looked at the rear brakes PRETTY GROODY! Got the hose off but cannot remove the pipe from the MC. Also cannot get the circlip off the MC to rebuild it. Took apart the caliper and powder coated and then topped off with "caliper paint. It looks good. Randakk has a after market rear MC Has anyone used one?.

second question. I know with the DYNA I do not need the ballast resister. Do I just leave the wires dangling?
