Update: pictures to follow.

Main laptop died, having operating system crashes on MacBook Pro, trying to get the iPad to take archives from Mac so I can install new op sys I got from Apple. Phew!! And can't download pictures from the new camera to my Kindle!! I am hardware rich, software poor.

You've all been there.

Anyway have the intake finished from carb to intake valves. Welding of the sheet and tube aluminum went well.

Next get cooling system going. Tried stock rad and may work, just need to put some spacers on lower mounts to clear pulley. Couple inches out to more vertical doesn't look to bad. Was considering a curved sport bike rad or those twin dirt bike ones but this wil be simpler.

Feel like it's looking more like a motorcycle!!

Just watch that front tire clearance. Sounds like good progress.

Had to buy a "camera kit" for thr ipad, should be able to post pictures again.

Have the intake tubing and hose put together. Making some fittings to rout the cooling hoses. Radiator mounted.

Thanks Cyborg. I mounted the shelter temporary to hook up wiring considering a lot of components are mounted to it.

When is the deadline. Seems like another 3 months of tinkering and she may be ready for a shakedown? Lots to shakedown of course.

Really, Fred. I don't know, lots of things to do. Haven't thought far enough to even think of riding the thing!lol. Am shooting for getting the engine running next. After that, if it doesn't blow up, will be body work, seat, lights, fuel tank, tidy the wiring. Phew!

Then there is yard work coming up and gardening. Ha.

Quick question..will you be able to get the spark plugs out past the flange on the intake? Doesn't look like much room there.

Very observant, just thinking about that also. Going to trial fit plug boots prior to removing intake elbows to mount coolant fittings between them. Can machine clearance cuts then. Things just getting closer together as I add things, lol.

It can live without the plug boots ...... as long as the caps and the wires fit .....

That's true, just use some regular terminals and caps?

Finishing the plumbing for the coolant. Scary step of tapping passage from where thermostat housing was mounted. Appears heater hose and fittings will work to replace original design. Think the stock radiator will work okay.

I have to say that this is some really cool project you are working on!!
I have a goldwing myself that I am currently rebuilding aswell. Have had thoughts about the monoswing, but I think I will stop with just doing some rebuilding of the back of the frame.
