Re: 1981 GL1100 "Dual Sport"
Thanks!
This ride was a pretty big deal for us.
It celebrated 30 years of us riding together, we figured to make this trip extra special to us.
We've always loved riding in the Redwoods so we wanted to go back there,
and the first long ride we ever took was to the Million Dollar Hwy., so we wanted to repeat that.
and we did.
Two weeks on the road and my lady was totally ready to keep going. God I love that woman!
Ended up being 4575 miles.
We have ridden this bike many places and it has been in a lot of pics over the years,
But, This is probably the best picture I have ever taken of this bike...

That's a fabulous picture! You are a lucky guy, I couldn't get my wife to ride 400ft, let alone a few thousand miles! She used to join me on short trips about 15 years ago. Now, there had better be air conditioning and a cup holder!

Blue Sky - Kinda Warm - Let's Ride !
I was able to get the ol' dirtbike out yesterday for a afternoon ride.
Minimal snow up in the high country.
I made up to about 9500 ft. on the Grand Mesa before the road became too icy for a bike.
