Studying away here. What size tubing did you use for your intake runners?? Looks like you went smaller and then expanded them to fit the elbows.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Ericheath, Its store bought 90 degree exhaust pipe 1 1/2" that flares up to 1 5/8" to slip on the pipe before. It just happens to fit the elbow boots perfectly..... This is a budget build! (just in case it doesn't work!)

I guess I could point out, that I am not trying to make this a fast/quick bike. This manifold would not be the right design. The carb should be closer to the engine with a much smaller plenum and shorter runners. If I was to do that you wouldn't see the carb at all and you would loose the shock factor. I do want good driveability, throttle response and reliability. This is a bobber, bar hopper sort of build. Personally I doubt it would easy to improve upon the original Honda carbs.

I was going to bring the point up on one of the last post, the further the carb is away from the intake point there will be turbulence and that will cause poor acceleration. It does look cool as heck though! A while back I read an article where some guy build a hot rod, he gutted a 6-71 blower and put a single Holley carb in it and set it up on a SBC. Had the whine of a blower, but not the force induction, pretty cool.

I can't believe I missed this thread!!! You guys hid it from me on purpose didn't ya!!!
YES, YES, YES I'M SHOUTING YES (That was for Eric. I wouldn't want to let him down).

Now THIS is a single carb conversion. Is it a Brosol with a single 25mm throat? NO. Is it a single two barrel to feed 4 cylinders? NO...It's a Holley dual-pumper baby.

Now some folks like to build "Sleepers" and they're fine in their way. But there is a fine art that most boys learn at a tender young age. The girls might have put their noses in the air and complained to their girlfriends when they saw somebody doing it, but they weren't kidding anybody.

They like them boys that know how to show-off, and Oldboy, you're a show-off.

It's close, just did all the wiring today, Frame was blasted & painted, rims are red with wide whites, 34' Chev cowl light for signals up front,
fire truck red cab light for signals out back, 34 Ford tail light, trailer rear fender, blacked out everything...except for red highlights. Motor got primary chain, rings, waterpump, belts, valve lap & seals. Seat pan to upholster tomorrow and red cherry bombs for mufflers. Needs a name, thinking "Iron Pig" or "RAT"...open to suggestions. Also going to get red & white pin stripping. This years winter was brutal and not much was done.
With summer here there are other chores, but I'm shooting for the end of the month. if I can remember how to upload pictures I'll do so this week-end.....I haven't quit....yet.
Thanks for the interest.......................time for a cold one, its over 80 here today.
Cheers...

Here are some updated pictures.....
Image
Engine received, rings, waterpump, primary chain, belts, valve lap, etc.. a good fresh'ning up.
Front wheel assembly, there will be a front fender, it's not painted yet.
Image
Rear wheel, The Sportster shocks will be painted black as well.
Image
Headlights...
Image
The headlight assembly is off a small Honda, CL90 I think. It also has the speedo built in.
The outside lights are cowl lights off a 1934 Chev Master Sedan. The aluminum plate below holds
the brake splitter and mounts an original 1969 Roadrunner "Beep Beep" horn. It will be
painted black also.

I give you "The Engine".
Image
Valve covers have the same paint scheme.
Another speedo shot
Image
Carburetor...
Image
Image
Rebuilt & replated, from a 1958 T-Bird. 390 CFM vacuum secondary's 4150 series Holley carb.
Some pieces still have to be detailed.

False tank
Image
Mods for intake clearance, and oil pressure & temp gauge.
Turn signals
Image
These are off either an International Harvester or firetrucks. Ebay stuff. Cab lights usually
found with orange lenses but if you look long enough red NOS will come up.

Tail light
Image
One 1934 Ford tail light original, not a repop. Will be mount ounce bike is on the ground.
Hope you get the idea, there's still exhaust and the seat, hopefully I'll have it finished in a month or two.
Cheers...
