Doug, I had to think about this for a few. I REALLY marvel at the adventures you and Gord get yourselves into!!
Honestly, I never dreamed I'd be Internationally venturing
into Canada, riding by myself there and back, to enjoy the brotherhood of fellow early GL riders.
The trike is an unexpected therapeutic tool; physically and mentally strengthening me.
At the end of the past couple of winters, I'm pleasantly surprised each new riding season I can
still get onto (and off) the trike, unassisted, without
too much difficulty. But, I'm gradually getting less resistant to concerned folks (perhaps scared stiff I'll fall off?) offering to help me wiggle my size 12 left steel toe boot across the seat.
anyhoo...
After almost 24,000 miles of riding this contraption, over the past 5 years, it gradually feels less odd as time goes along. Riding it, that is.
Once I'm on the trike, it and I are ready to go!
The closest I'd almost come to riding with a fellow NGW Club member US citizen , in the US, was Brian,"Bluethunder."
He and I finally met up this past September.......
In Canada!
Can't neglect to confirm finally meeting Jeff, "Fred Camper", there, too!
Sooooooo......Barring any unforeseen minor injuries before then, I reckon it and I will see y'all again,
In Canada, next year!
Done!
