I forgot to mention this entire thing was the fault of Sodbuster. He brought his Valk to the 2015 Deadwood run, and I never forgot how cool his bike was.

Interesting since I've never owned a Valk

Must have been my evil twin whom I've never met!

Quite literally, during an argument with a (long gone EX!) girfriend, she said to me -
'I didn't say it was your fault, I said I'm blaming you'
Yeah, that pretty well sums up that relationship!

Oh dear, i guess you did it in a damp shop 'cos, it gone all different shades and kinda faded a bit at the one end.
I think you just have to strip it and do it again in the summer! Shame really!
Nah, $20 saddle on a $10 horse..

Hey sunnbobb .... how cool to see you got yourself a Valk. Actually it was the 2009 Deadwood run .... The very first "NGW High Plains Gypsy Run". Those Valks are so smooooooth.
I noticed you're missing a left side side cover. Guess what, I have one. It survived the crash I had. Interested ??
Fully intact, no broken tabs, one little scuff mark in top left corner of picture. could almost buff it out.

Hey Sod! Good to hear from you. Hope all is well. Thanks for the side cover offer, but I do have one. I might have had it off when I was painting and decaling.
Peace to ya.

Awesome! .... nice looking scoot. Do you know if the baffles were drilled out? On mine I went in with a 3/8" x 12" long drill bit and drilled out all six "piggies". gave it a little more aggressive sound but not obnoxious. Only had to back out the low speed a little to rid of any popping on decel.

Also, I noticed you still have stock petcock. Most owners switched over to a pingle fuel valve to prevent hydro-lock on those machines.

Never been a fan of the chameleon paint, but with the arches and curves of the tank and the border, that looks very tasteful. Nice job, as always.

Me neither. It's not chameleon, it's rainbow shimmer metallic, my own blend.

I considered it, however, since I had the tank off, I just went ahead and rebuilt the petcock, plus I'm old school about shutting off my fuel after riding.
